A value proposition is the most important part of a start-up\’s business plan. This is because the value proposition describes what value the company brings to consumers and how consumers will benefit by using their product or service. From the value proposition, one should be able to determine the target market based upon the benefits of the product. We learned this by comparing our customer archetype with our value proposition and business model. Understanding our customer archetype helped us understand our values and what type of customers we were targeting.
By talking to potential customers I\’ve reaffirmed our beliefs that our stickers mainly interest those who already have stickers on their laptops and/or water bottles and are environmentally friendly. Based on our customer interactions we will stay on course with sugarcane stickers.
